Welcome to the Home of Cocoa Beach Lacrosse!
Much has happened in the off-season and players and fans need to be aware of some of the upcoming changes.
Registration and USA Lacrosse Membership
This has not changed. Every player must be registered for the 2022 season and a member of USA Lacrosse to be eligible to practice and play in games. Click the red registration button to start the process. Contact any of the coaches or website email if you have issues getting registered.
New and Returning Players
No matter the experience level, CB lacrosse has a place for everyone. Loaner equipment is available (less mouth guards and cleats) for new and returning players that need everything or are just short on some items. New players can defer their fees for the first month of practice to get a feel for the game.
2022 Game Schedule
· Varsity game schedules for the boys’ and girls’ teams are posted on the varsity team pages. Be sure to check the game schedules frequently. We've had several changes to both the boys and girls schedule since being "finalized".
· Girls Junior Varsity schedule is finalized and posted on the girls’ JV team page.
· Boys rec/scrimmage game dates have been posted on the 16U and 14U pages. Game times and opponents are still being finalized and will be posted soon.
Home Game Location and Times
Early season home games will be played on the football practice field (east of stadium) pending completion of track construction.
· Early season home game will be earlier than normal (typically starting at 4 pm) to account for the lack of lighting on the practice field.
· Family/fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
· We were promised we could resume games in the stadium after spring break but could be sooner.
2022 Rules Changes
New for this year, boy’s shoulder/chest protectors must meet NOCSAE standard ND200. A limited number of protectors will be available to borrow. See boys team pages for details.
Practice Wall
Please contribute to the fund to build the practice wall and pass the information on to friends and family. Having a practice wall will help the coaches tremendously keeping players occupied when dealing with many different ages and experience levels. See link for GoFundMe or pdf in the documents section for more information.
