Welcome to the Home of Cocoa Beach Lacrosse!
The 2023 lacrosse season is just around the corner!
2023 has the markings of a very exciting lacrosse season with lots of opportunities for all! Last year’s large graduating class has left many varsity starting positions open and ready to be claimed! We are also in need of parent volunteers in all areas (especially game day support) and team managers.
Registration and USA Lacrosse Membership
Registration for the 2023 season is now open. This year’s fee is $200 but if you register before 12/31/2022 you will receive a $25 discount. Families with multiple players will also receive a $25 discount for each sibling.
Every player must be registered for the 2023 season and must be a member of USA Lacrosse to be eligible to practice and play in games. The season officially starts on January 23, 2023. Click the registration button ion the left side of the page to start the process. Contact any of the coaches or website email if you have issues getting registered.
New and Returning Players
No matter the experience level, CB lacrosse has a place for everyone. Loaner equipment is available (less mouth guards and cleats) for new and returning players that need everything or are just short on some items. New players can defer their fees for the first month of practice to get a feel for the game.
2023 Game Schedule
The Varsity game schedule for the boys’ is posted on the boys’ varsity team page. Be sure to check the game schedules frequently as they are subject to change.
Communication
The club uses several forms of communication throughout the year. The website is a good source for advance planning and is used for most email distributions and newsletters. Parents and fans please make sure you are signed up on the website email if not already on your players registration. Emails are sent out using the website distribution list for near term upcoming events (meetings, fundraising events, etc.). During the season a newsletter is typically sent out at the end of the week to inform players/parents of the upcoming weeks schedule including information on practices and games. A GroupMe for players and coaches is also used to communicate late breaking items and for the players to informally ask the coaches and other players questions and get updates.
